"Super fast water flow"
This paper is made from EP Bicomponent Fiber. It is a method of combining two different fibers into one, to achieve desired performance from the final fiber. The method is a spun nonwoven technology using only the finest and proprietary organic materials. It is lab tested and food grade paper filter.
Normal paper filter is hydrophilic, it’s what paper is. Meaning absorbs water and retains insolubles.
This paper is hydrophobic, means it’s kinda water repellent. Simply said it’s a gateway for the insolubles (fibers, oil and lipid) to pass through.
Coffees that are brewed with this paper increase 7% of viscosity compared to others brewed with normal filters (measured with viscosity meter).
In summary, this paper has nothing to do with flavors, coffees that are brewed using this paper have better tactile/body quality, increased viscosity and better texture.
